About Birln Wall

Birln Wall, a product of Phlout LLC, is a personal call-screening service. When someone who is not on a Birln Wall user's approved contact list calls that user's screened phone number, our automated voice system (IVR) answers and gives the caller the option to pay a small one-time fee to reach the user. If the caller chooses to proceed, we send them a single text message with a secure payment link.

How you opt in (consent)

Consent is collected verbally, through our automated phone system— there is no website sign-up form. When you call a Birln Wall user's screened number and are not on their approved list, you hear this prompt:

You opt in by pressing 1 — an intentional, affirmative action that expressly requests the text message. We send the payment-link SMS only after you press 1, and only to the phone number you called from. If you do not press 1, we do not text you.

Messages you will receive

Birln Wall sends only transactional messages related to connecting your call. We do not send marketing or promotional messages, and there is no recurring message program. Example messages:

Message frequency: one payment-link message per call in which you press 1, plus one confirmation message after payment. This is not a recurring or subscription messaging program.

Account sign-in codes (one-time passcodes)

Birln Wall accounts sign in by text message — there is no password. When you enter your mobile number on the sign-in screen and tap Send code, you request a one-time passcode and expressly consent to receive it by text at that number. This is an intentional, affirmative action; we send the code only after you tap Send code, and only to the number you entered.

• Message frequency: one code per sign-in attempt. This is a transactional message, not a recurring or marketing program.

• Opt out / help: reply STOP to stop these messages (you will not be able to sign in by text after opting out) or HELP for help. Full details are in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Text relay for Birln Wall account holders

If you are a Birln Wall account holder, the service also sends you text messages as part of screening your number:

• How you opt in: when you create a Birln Wall account in the app, you verify your mobile number with a one-time code and point your phone number at Birln Wall. By completing that setup you expressly agree to receive the screening and relay messages described here at your verified number.
• What we send:when someone on your approved list texts your Birln Wall number, we forward their message to your phone, prefixed with the sender's number — for example: “From (612) 555-0123: Running 10 minutes late.” If you reply, we deliver your reply to that contact on your behalf.
• Message frequency varies with how often your approved contacts text your Birln Wall number. These are one-to-one relayed conversations, not a marketing or promotional program.
• Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop these messages, or HELP for help.

Rates, opt-out & help

Your privacy
